The Health Care Authority (HCA), which oversees the Medicaid program in Washington state, has just posted an update about federal funding. In Washington state, Medicaid is called Apple Health.
The important thing to know is that there are no immediate changes to existing eligibility, coverage or benefits for Apple Health. HCA said that any changes will take at least 9-12 months and maybe longer. They are waiting for more guidance from the federal government. More information is available at hca.wa.gov.
