Your vote matters

 

SHA is joining the Sounders FC, Seahawks, Seattle Storm, Seattle Mariners, OL Reign, Seattle Kraken, and more sports teams promoting a campaign called the Democracy Cup to encourage everyone to register to vote and vote. Voting affects nearly every facet of life, from safety to housing, to education, to healthcare.  Last-minute voters can register and vote as late as Nov. 5 by going to a voting center in person. 

Who can register 

To register to vote in Washington, you must be: 

  • A citizen of the United States 
  • A legal resident of Washington state 
  • At least 18 years old by election day

How to register to vote  

In-person  

Last-minute voters can register and vote as late as Nov. 5 by going to a voting center in person

To register, you will need: 

  • A current Washington state driver license, or 
  • A current Washington state ID card
