Click here March 3, 2022 ![]() SHA closing the digital equity gap with expanded Digital Navigators programThanks to a $1.8 million grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce Broadband Office, SHA is expanding its Digital Navigators program. More than 5,000 low-income people served by SHA will receive computers, laptops and other equipment and the skills training they need to access the vital information and services available on the internet. SHA signs on to national climate challenge In keeping with its long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability, the Seattle Housing Authority has signed on to a new U.S. Department of Energy Better Climate Challenge. As a partner, SHA is committing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent and energy consumption by 15 percent across all portfolios by 2032.
