No images? Click here U.S. Sen. Patty Murray visits Yesler On August 16, Seattle Housing Authority Executive Director Rod Brandon welcomed U.S. Sen. Patty Murray to Hinoki, SHA’s newest residential building at Yesler. Murray chose the location to announce that President Biden had signed into law the Inflation Reduction Act recently passed by Congress. The bill is considered to be the most important legislation in U.S. history to address climate change and also represents a big step in reducing prescription drug costs for seniors and others. SHA releases 2021 Annual Report Every year the Seattle Housing Authority issues an Annual Report listing its revenues and net assets, along with information about significant milestones achieved during the year. Volunteers needed for Seattle King County Vision Clinic This year, the Seattle/King County Clinic will provide free eye exams and prescription eyeglasses.
