Click here SHA hosts roundtable on affordable housing with HUD Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman SHA Executive Director Rod Brandon, HUD Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman, HUD Regional Administrator Margaret Salazar and 11 leaders from local housing agencies met at Hinoki in SHA's Yesler community on Dec. 8 for a roundtable on affordable housing. Hinoki is the latest residential building completed as part of Yesler Terrace redevelopment. Participants were invited to tour the new building after the discussion. SHA slated to use 100 percent of its Emergency Housing Vouchers by year’s end The Seattle Housing Authority expects that by the end of 2022 it will have used all 498 of the Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV) it received to place mostly formerly homeless people in stable, secure homes. Celebrating Kwanzaa Kwanzaa is observed each year from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1. It is a celebration of African heritage and African American culture.
