SHA provides support from cradle to college, partnering with others to help form strong connections between families, schools and other systems to foster the success of students. ![]() ![]() Save the date: Grand Opening Celebration of RAVE Fields at NewHolly The RAVE Foundation Fields at NewHolly will soon be open for free play. Join Seattle Sounders FC, RAVE Foundation, NewHolly residents, and the many generous people who made two new fields in Seattle Housing Authority's NewHolly neighborhood possible for a celebration on Wednesday, May 24, at 3:30 p.m. Enjoy food, art, play, and a celebration of RAVE communities and the legacy promise of World Cup 2026. RAVE community events are always free. Please plan to join us! SHA receives 71 additional vouchers to house former foster youth The Seattle Housing Authority has received funding to provide housing vouchers to 71 additional youth who are exiting the foster care system. The Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) vouchers will serve young people who are 18-24 years old and have aged out or are aging out of foster care, leaving them at extreme risk of homelessness. With the special Housing Choice Vouchers, these young adults receive assistance finding housing in the rental market and a rent subsidy that makes it affordable based on their income.
Free medical, dental and vision care at Seattle-King County Clinic, April 27-30 The Seattle Housing Authority is proud to be a longtime supporting partner of the Seattle-King County Clinic, which provides free dental, vision and medical care to underserved populations. All are welcome regardless of income, insurance, housing or immigration status. Volunteer positions are still open or find information for patients.
