Click here Applications for a chance to receive a Housing Choice Voucher opens Jan. 17, 2024 Families and individuals can apply for a chance to receive a Housing Choice Voucher (formerly Section 8), which provides rental assistance for low-income people to rent from landlords throughout the Seattle rental market. The opportunity to apply will be ongoing and applicants will be chosen at random whenever vouchers are available. HUD awards SHA more than $1 million to support housing mobility expansion SHA has been awarded $1,075,200 by HUD to expand neighborhood choices for more families with SHA Housing Choice Vouchers. Volunteers needed for 2024 Seattle King County Clinic Each year SHA partners with the Seattle/King County Clinic which provides free dental, vision and medical for those in need.
