On April 22, Gov. Jay Inslee visited Yesler to announce $156 million in federal funding for solar energy for people with low incomes. HUD makes nearly $13 million in funding available for public housing agencies to help youth aging out of foster care HUD’s Foster Youth to Independence vouchers will be used to provide housing to young adults between the ages of 18 years and 24 years old who left foster care or will leave foster care in the next 90 days and are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. AAPI month is an annual recognition of the historical and cultural contributions of individuals and groups of AAPI descent living in the United States.
