Summer of Safety is a free program for youth and teens ages 9 to 18. Activities include field trips, arts and crafts, sports and more.

Tuesday, August 6 is Washington’s State Primary with candidates for governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, state legislature, court seats, local offices and measures on the ballot. The deadline to register or update your address online is July 29. You may also register and vote in person at a county voting center through election day. 

City agencies offer various summer job programs. Some positions pay hourly, while others provide stipends or service hours.
