Yesler Education Initiative

Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to assist on the continuation of the Choice Neighborhoods Yesler Education Initiative. The purpose is to continue the implementation of a neighborhood based education initiative for the Yesler neighborhood that ensures that children have access to high quality educational opportunities and increased access to programs that combine a continuum of effective community services, strong family supports, and comprehensive education services. Key strategies, outcomes and actions are focused on supporting youth from cradle to college with an overarching goal of increasing high school graduation and post-secondary degree obtainment.
