Applications for the 2022 Dream Big! Scholarship and the NAHRO Merit College Scholarship are now open. Scholarships awarded are for the 2022-2023 academic year.  

SHA is hosting vaccine clinics at three SHA communities this month. Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson will be available for those who need their first or second shot, or first booster shot. The second booster shot will be available to adults ages 50 and up or immunocompromised.

Black Maternal Health Week takes place every year from April 11 to
April 17 and was officially recognized by the White House on April 13, 2021. The month of April is recognized in the United States as National Minority Health Month, which is a month-long initiative to advance health equity across the country on behalf of all racial and ethnic minorities.

The 19th annual Seattle Black Film Festival is a three-day weekend of in-person and video-on-demand screenings, panels and events from April 29 to
May 1. The festival will be held at Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. You can purchase a pass for the entire lineup or get tickets for individual screenings.
