The selected Consultant(s) shall perform all City of Seattle required Material Testing and Special Inspection Services as required by the permits associated with SHA Contracts, Permits, and Work Orders. NOTE: Geotechnical inspection services are not included in this scope and will be performed by others.
SHA expects to award two (2) Contracts. The award of the two Contracts will be decided by the overall top scores for all criteria.
The selected Consultant shall be asked to perform services as described below.
City of Seattle permit requirements for typical Material Testing and Special Inspection Services for various small projects and typical special inspections related to apartment construction including but not limited to, multi-family, five floors of wood framed construction over 1-2 floors of concrete super structure.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
- 1. Concrete Inspection & Pick ups
- 2. Concrete Samples & Breaks
- 3. PT Concrete Inspection
- 4. Masonry Inspection
- 5. Masonry Prisms
- 6. Lateral Framing Inspection
- 7. Proprietary Anchor Inspection
- 8. Structural Steel Fabrication Inspection
- 9. Structural Steel Erection Inspection
- 10. Final Report
- 11. All other services normally provided by Construction Special Inspectors for which licensure by the State of Washington as a professional inspector is required or normally provided.
