Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in SHA’s programs, activities and services.
SHA Housing residents: To request a disability-related reasonable accommodation, contact your property management office to begin the process. To inquire about the status of your accommodation request, you may contact your property manager, or call the ADA Coordinator at 206.615.3550. The ADA Coordinator will notify you in writing about the outcome of your request.
Housing Choice Voucher holders: To request a disability-related reasonable accommodation, contact your Certification Specialist to begin the process. Applicants: To request a reasonable accommodation related to a disability, contact SHA Admissions during your application process. SHA Admissions or the ADA Coordinator can update you on the status and the outcome or your request.
Low income housing applications are processed through a waitlist, and no priority placement is available for applicants with disabilities. You can apply for housing online or by requesting a paper application. Start your application here.
