Hoa Mai Gardens, which opened in summer 2017, is located adjacent to the Yesler Community Center, Yesler Hillclimb and Yesler Terrace Park. In recognition of its location at the top of the Hillclimb connecting Yesler with the Little Saigon neighborhood, the building was named for a flower symbolic in many Southeast Asian cultures.
The waitlist for Yesler properties has reopened.
BREATHE EASY HOMES
The Yesler community has 57 Breathe Easy Homes, units designed for households that have one or more family members with asthma. The units have a special ventilation system, hard flooring and other features that help reduce asthma triggers.
