Red Cedar, which opened spring of 2019, is located at the intersection of 8th Avenue, 9th Avenue and Fir Street, across from the Epstein Opportunity Center at Yesler. It was named to honor the Western red cedar tree that has provided bark for clothing, canoes and other important Northwest native uses for centuries.

BREATHE EASY HOMES
The Yesler community has 57 Breathe Easy Homes, units designed for households that have one or more family members with asthma. The units have a special ventilation system, hard flooring and other features that help reduce asthma triggers.
