The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking proposals from qualified professional firms or individuals (“Consultants”) to assist SHA in HUD Restricted Use Appraisal Services and Market Studies that meet the requirements for low-income housing tax credit allocations for properties within Seattle city limits. We are looking for qualified firm(s) and/or appraiser(s)/analyst(s) to provide reports on an on-call basis for developed or vacant land that has existing or future restrictions due to Public Housing, Project-Based Section 8, HUD rent limits and tiers, maximum rent charges or other income-based rent charges.
Informal Solicitation
The purpose of HCV Mediation Services is to ensure SHA’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) department participants and private landlords renting to SHA HCV participants have resources to address interpersonal conflict and lease violations that may lead to housing instability or eviction. HCV mediation services shall facilitate resolution of disputes/conflicts between participants and landlords where a neutral mediator is necessary to prevent termination/eviction and subsequent negative rental history or homelessness.
SHA is looking for a vendor to help the accounting department and the organization in its accounting for our leases, both lessee and lessor, due to the new complex accounting standard GASB 87. The vendor would also take care of accounting and organizing our subscription software contracts which deals with the newest GASB standard #96.
