Seattle Housing Authority is seeking Requests for Proposals for On Call Construction Estimating Services.  Construction estimating scopes of services may include but are not limited to reviewing project documents; material takeoff; cost analysis; value analysis; vendor and supplier coordination; risk assessment; budget preparation; bid proposal support; contractor change order review; and claims support.

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking a qualified professional firm to provide land use counsel assistance with regulatory compliance, entitlements, permitting and legal agreements. Specifically related to both federal (National Environmental Policy Act) and local (State Environmental Policy Act, Environmental Critical Areas, and zoning) issues required by HUD, our financial partners, and due to other contractual obligations prior to and during redevelopment planning and construction.

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking firms to provide On-Call Training and Coaching Services to help SHA’s employees work toward our agency’s mission and strategic plan.  The training and coaching services may include leadership development for SHA supervisors or senior leaders and training for SHA teams in topics such as culturally responsive, trauma informed customer service, community engagement, or other topics relevant to SHA’s mission and strategic plan. 

SHA is seeking professional temporary staffing services to be provided on as needed basis. The selected Consultant will provide temporary staffing services for a variety of administrative and technical positions at Seattle Housing Authority (SHA). Temporary assignments will be filled to backfill vacant positions, assist with special projects or manage workloads. SHA is looking for temporary staffing services in the following classifications but not limited to: Administrative, Information Technology, Accounting and Clerical. The selected Consultant should have experience in placing staff in the Seattle metropolitan area and a local office is highly preferred in order to provide the level of customer service expected by SHA.

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking a qualified professional firm to assist SHA in providing specialized case management services (including mental health case management) to residents residing in the Mixed-Operations Portfolio, with an emphasis on the 237 SHA-owned low-income buildings. Additional communities may be added, depending on community needs and funding availability.

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking a qualified professional firm to provide Engineering, Architectural, and Cost Estimating services for on-call elevator design and construction administration.  Seattle Housing Authority owns or manages many low-rise and high-rise apartment buildings constructed throughout the city. The buildings have one or more elevators per building. Many of these elevators will need to be modernized or replaced over the next five years.  To provide SHA staff with on-call architectural-engineering services to prepare and complete an elevator modernization scope of work to existing elevator(s), or to design a new elevator installation to replace the existing elevator(s), all in occupied buildings.  SHA may also require on an as-needed basis, elevator repair technical and maintenance review advisory services in support of SHA’s existing elevator maintenance contract.

Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking the services of qualified firms to provide Comprehensive Parking Management Services for the SHA Central Office Parking Garage in an efficient, professional manner while always providing quality customer service. These parking services will include the operation and management of 2 parking decks (collectively, “Parking Facilities”) with 223 spaces located at 101 Elliot Ave W, Seattle WA 98119. Regular operation of the parking deck is Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 7:00pm Pacific Time. Duties include operation and maintenance of a parking booth, parking deck security, maintenance of parking system and equipment, signage, account management and setup, billing and collection of daily and monthly parking fees, ticket issuance, adjudication of parking appeals, addressing customer complaints, and monthly reporting to SHA. 

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to assist SHA by managing its telecommunications site program and provide industry specific knowledge in actively marketing SHA’s portfolio of properties to telecommunications firms, including but not limited to negotiation and licensing of new installations and ongoing consultation in matters related to the management of the equipment sites as well as the equipment.
