Last year, SHA received a federally funded grant from the Washington State Broadband Office that enabled it to expand its digital equity program to serve more than 5,000 tenants. SHA created a Digital Navigation team, gave out free laptops, helped tenants get affordable internet and provided digital skills training. This program is now part of SHA's annual budget. Learn more about SHA's digital equity initiatives

Affordable Connectivity Program

Due to the lack of additional funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program, the Federal government is ending the program in April. It's important to contact your internet service provider to learn more about how this impacts your Internet service and bill as your monthly payment could increase. Tenants who need assistance can email digitalequityhelp@seattlehousing.org or call 206.615.3580.
