Summer construction at Longfellow Creek

Seattle Housing Authority and CDK Construction are continuing their renovation efforts at Longfellow Creek and are already six months into the project. Substantial progress has been made with three buildings already completed and a fourth nearing completion by the end of July. Both buildings E and F are now reoccupied as residents acquaint themselves with the modern kitchen appliances and cabinets as well as the revamped bathrooms and new vinyl flooring. New residents will receive a full orientation on the use and care of these additions and the site staff and maintenance will continue to assist residents with the move-in process. Wisteria Court is also undergoing interior as well as exterior renovations and in fall 2018, CDK Construction will mobilize at Roxhill Court.

Please be aware of delivery trucks or fork lifts on site and obey No-Parking and Construction Zone signs placed by CDK. Residents will also notice a number of dumpsters on site. These are for CDK’s use only and residents should continue to use the existing recycling and garbage bins in the fenced areas.

Residents can contact their property management staff at the new Longfellow office about ongoing relocation efforts. If you have questions regarding construction, please reach out to Liam Tevlin, the project’s Resident Communications Liaison (206.245.8106, liam.tevlin@seattlehousing.org).
