The grand opening of 13th & Fir Family Housing was held on June 13 to celebrate the completion of Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority and Community Roots Housing's latest affordable housing development. The mixed-use building includes 156 units of affordable apartments and the Denise Louise Education Center. The new development has 156 affordable housing units, including 25 three‐bedroom and seven four‐bedroom units. SHA provided the land and  $11 million for this project.
